I had my braces taken out today! =))

2 years 3 months of pain and suffering ends right here today. Goodbye my dear metallic friend, I'm sorry to say, I won't miss you a single bit.

I was gonna do some before and after comparison in photos, but then again, I realised that while I had braces, I have seldom or close to never, smiled with my teeth. The closest photo I can find was:

BEFORE

And now, may I proudly present to you my $2k worth of teeth:

AFTER

Actually there's not much a big difference, I didn't become prettier. In fact, I felt quite strange being able to feel my teeth now. Can't get used to it lar! And the dentist like filed the 2 front tooth until its flat like a blade, making me look kinda dumb. grr.

Anyway, I will try to take more pictures with my big wide smile from now on. :)

After taking out my braces, I went to HSA and wanted to donate blood. (Out of sheer boredom) The people there are quite friendly, but unfortunately, I was REJECTED because I had dental work today and must wait at least 24 hrs later before I can donate blood. *boo hoo*

And then I went to meet Wendell for a nice fish head steamboat at a ulu part of Choa Chu Kang. Yummmmmmy. I must now clean my teeth very thoroughly. And I bought a stain remover because I know I drink a lot of tea, and it will be bad for my teeth.

TA DAHH.

To digress a bit, I recently went to CENTRAL mall at clarke quay, and bought many things at only $50! :)

Okay lar, its not exactly a LOT of things, but considering the separate items are quite expensive, I think I had a good bargain.

Top - $35

Accessory - The shop owner reluctantly sold to me at $10.

A fake Anna Sui mirror & comb set - costs $18.90 on its own!

Pearl hair clip - FREE. (from Lucky Dip when you spend $50)

New addition to my sister's and my board of accessories.

All this for $50. MMM. I think the shop lady quite nice lar. She told me I was her first customer of the day (at 8:50pm) and I guess probably the last.

Well, you guys might like to check the place out for Christmas shoppings, because there's currently quite some promotions going on to attract more shoppers to the mall. :)

And yes, I would like to end off this entry with a gruesome discovery I found just now, right around my house's windows gap.

The body of a decomposed lizard! Can see the skeleton! freakkky.

It probably got squashed to death when we opened the windows. yukkk. I haven't really plucked up the courage to touch it yet. HOW??!! Its very disgusting lar!

Sigh. I feel like every week I am discovering more and more dead bodies of animals or insects. My blog is gonna turn into some discovery channel webpage or something.

GROSS.

Good night all! I am off to bed.
