I got back my results for the semester. Welllll. Didn't managed to get high distinction for both subjects this time round. Only got high distinction for Econs, and distinction for Quantitative Methods. Shall work harder for my next 2 modules - Banking & Finance, Information Technology! :)
Also, I booked my Final Theory Test date! It's next month! I'm estatic but I can't help but feel I will not pass at the first time. Lol. Sigh. We shall see!
On Thursday, after returning from my retail therapy, (spent a bombshell at Topshop and various places) , I was happily getting down the bus at my block's bus stop.
AND THEN, I heard the crying sound of a cat.
Being a super lover of cats, my curiosity was aroused. After much looking around, I realized there was a cat trapped inside the seat of the bustop! I know it sounds ridiculous, but there was really a kitten trapped there!
A typical bus stop seat.
the kitten was trapped inside the concrete!
the smalllll hole from the concrete.
I was like trying ways to lure the kitten out but I couldn't! Too stubborn! So I went back home to grab some food to lure it out. Meanwhile, I had called SPCA to ask them to come and rescue the cat. HAHA! Had at first called SCDF thinking they could saw the seat open or something, then the person told me, "Sorry, we only deal with humans." WTF!
Finally saw the kitten's head.
the cuuuteee kittennn.
I smiled. I thought it was a general message from SPCA to everyone who called. HAHA! So I replied a simple thank you! And the next message came:
Finally saw the kitten's head.
the cuuuteee kittennn.
Anyway, by the time SPCA arrived from the East, the little kitten have already jumped out on its own. But the nice SPCA guy gave me the pet carrier to house the kitten and said I could keep it! Didn't want to let him take the kitten away, because he said it will likely be put down to sleep anyway. :(

While I was buying the cat food at NTUC, I received this text message from an unknown number.
"Thanks. hi, from spca.
Thanks for saving and rehoming e kitten."

LOL! Told my sister and she was like.."HAHAHAHA. awww...what crap!!"
Yep, that basically sums up my Save-A-Kitten mission for the week. I feel like I am finding a different lost animal every month. Like Xiao Hei and this kitten. Even my Zai Zai was lost and found! :)
But the kitten has thus been freed by me and Don don to a safer place where it would not be able to climb into any holes. I hope it is fine now! :)
My Friday was spent with Don don, we watched "10 Promises to my dog". It's a nice show! I was crying at the scene when the dog died. Like everyone else. Haha. I'm gonna make 10 promises to my zai zai too! ;p
And on Saturday, I attended Stella's birthday chalet at Downtown East. It was a horrendous lonely ride from Boon Lay to Pasir Ris for me because something bad happened before that and my mood was almost ground zero low.
But after reaching the place I cheered up abit and met up with my friends and Don don after that. Some pictures from the party:
chunnit, ling, me!
stella ~ birthday girl!
cheeky girl! :D
she just escaped from IMH!

We left the chalet at about 11pm, after watching finish the Jacky Wu's show. Took bus back to Pasir Ris MRT station, only to find that the train station has ended its service for the day. And guess what? We had to cab ALLLL THE WAY from Pasir Ris to Jurong. It is freaking expensive. Like close to $50 I think, with midnight charge and all. Lucky we all shared a maxicab so damage was minimized.
Me, Don don, chunnit, Ling and Kok Lin (now affectionately known as Kok Kok) went to the Partyworld opp my house while Wes and Pang went home first. It was already 1230am by the time we reached! Sang for a good 1 and half hours but we only paid for our drinks which was $9.50 because we know someone working there and he always never fails to give us the best deals. (We are his regular customers afterall! LOL!)
My sis ended up looking like she actually belonged to the temple, because she wore shorts and sleeveless top. tsk tsk tsk. Lucky I wore jeans, so I only need to cover my shoulders. Lol!

Then today, I woke up early 11plus to eat breakfast with my family. Long time since we do that. :) Went to this nice hawker centre at Redhill and ate to our hearts content. At the car park, me and my sis spotted this wierd lorry.
the bloody shit hub?
one of the best marketing gimmicks ever.
Like what the hell, there's even shit in the car!
The shit business the person's doing must be big huh.

Yep yep, after eating, Mum wanted to go to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple located at Chinatown. I don't know how many people out there have really been there, but apparently the temple is made of gold and is air-conised.
the temple rulesOops. Even before entering the temple, me and sis have already violated the first rule - no skimpy dressing! So, we have to wear the scarves provided at the entrance by this "ang moh" helper or volunteer. Feels funny.
