Let me recount how I spent my CNY.
Day 1
Woke up to the familiar smell of Mum's cooking, the sounds of the two family friends who stayed over at our place, and the tv noise from my father. Just the right atmosphere for the typical Chinese New Year day. :)
Watched all the CNY countdowns from various countries like Taiwan, and added many new songs to my ipod while surfing the net.
Practically (nua-ed) slacked for half a day before I got ready to visit my Grandaunt's place, which is an annual affair! I was really looking forward to the (ban-luck) sessions. Heh.

Stayed awhile at my Grandaunt's place before proceeding to my relative's house for the ban luck session. Was very lucky (which I suspect has something to do with the big cross earrings and red panty ;p ) as I kept getting double As or black jacks. So I was named "Queen of 21" that night! :)
We played until 2am+...and total winnings was around $120+. Damn happy! Treat my family to supper at S11 and we went back home to sleep.
Day 2
Woke up early in the morning by the family friend who stayed over, at about 10am+. I had only less than 6 hours of sleep! So I was very sleepy throughout the whole day.
After having lunch at my home, my mum, sister, family friend and I went over to my old neighbour's house near Pioneer Mall for visiting. Really long since we last saw them man.
Oh yah! Saw the really cute and clever cat from my blk. He is so smart he knows how to take the lift! And he is sitting in a cute position!
We played until 2am+...and total winnings was around $120+. Damn happy! Treat my family to supper at S11 and we went back home to sleep.
Day 2
Woke up early in the morning by the family friend who stayed over, at about 10am+. I had only less than 6 hours of sleep! So I was very sleepy throughout the whole day.

After coming back home from the visit, my family went out again shortly to JEC to watch CJ7! The show was quite meaningless - in my own opinion. It doesn't touch me on a deep level, so I would not recommend that show to anyone, especially not when tickets are $9.50.
Straight after movie, I bumped into Brandon at the toilet pathway and I asked my Dad to drive us to Chevrons to meet the gang! Was supposed to go there to sing, but somehow, we all ended up gambling!! (except Ling)

Woke up by Ade's call asking me to get ready at Commonwealth where Wa Cheng will pick me up to go to Boss house. But I was really so tired then, can't even open my eyes lar! So I told her I will give it a miss. I don't wanna end up like a zombie! :(
My house was packed perpetually the whole day, with many different groups of people coming over to eat and gamble. My sister's friends , my mum's friends, wendell, and my friends late at night.
Halfway through the day, I went to Wendell's place to visit. Played mahjong with him and his parents, which I find quite interesting! Shall play mahjong more often to practice! Right now I am still a noobie. Heh.
I also went to PartyWorld with dell, though for a short 2 hours! It was not very expensive although it is a public holiday. One pax at $9.80+! :)
For the rest of the night, I played black jack again with the same gang at my home. They were so noisy lar, but also very funny, laugh till I pengs.
We played till about 2:30am where we left for S11 for supper, AGAIN! :( I ate two dumplings, enough to make me feel guilty. I have been eating alot this CNY and my weight gain is horrible. I NEED TO WORK OUT! ;p
Slept at around 4am. Was literally floating by then. I need my zzzs.
Day 4
Woke up to the sound of my mum and when me and my sis opened ours eyes, we saw my cute niece Angelina from Batam standing in front of us! Was so tired I thought I was still dreaming, haha! We went back to sleep anyway, that's really how tired we were.
We went to the temple as our zodiacs happen to "fan tai sui" this year, and so I accompanied them - for the fun of it. I really don't believe in such things lar, but better to be safe than sorry. ;)

The big winners of the day, or rather night, was Brandon & Xiang. And the one who lost the most - Qihao! The poor guy lost about $20+ in the short span of few hours, considering the stake is limited to only 50cents per game.
By the time we finished our game and got chased out by the Chevrons management, it was already about 3am! And the whole gang walked over to JEC for supper at Mcdonalds. The winners treat! :)

So after temple, we went to Esplanade for the "Chun Dao He Pan".
I sat on one of the scary rides called "Top Gun". It's really scary!! It turns you 360 deg over and over again and while turning, I don't know why I just suddenly remembered the scenes from Final Destination. SCARY! :(

As you can see, I didn't really take a lot of pictures this CNY. Was really too absorbed in having fun to take pictures man! This is definitely my favourite festive season of the year. :)
