Well well well. The past few days have been tiring! Was out practically everyday till like 1am , 2am.

Yesterday my parents dragged me out of my bed to my relative house for a sort of Christmas gathering. It's actually more like a church gathering because most of the people there were people that I did not know and are from my aunty's church.

While I do not understand what they were preaching about most of the time, I still had fun lar. Lucky Yingyi was there, so I still have some company! (My sis is out of town! *sobs*) I hate to go to family gatherings alone with my parents.

Heh. Took some pictures.

Before the session started.

So it was games, games and more games before they had some church song singing session. Lunch was at the end and I think my father slept through the entire session. *rolls eyes*

Me & Yingyi

Our christmas exchange prezzies! (: (well, it's not really an exchange if we only received rite?)

Anyway after the gathering, me and Yingyi decided to go out!

;;Random shots;;

Before going out!

We met at JE and went to KBOX. heh. First time go sing ktv with her! :) It was really freezing cold inside man. So cold until we went to borrow shawl from the staffs. And we keep eating the tidbits...'cos free flow...every 5 minutes we will call for refill. LOL.

Haha. I think she didnt realise I took her pic!

Heh.

happy happy! (:

After 4 hours of singing, I practically ran out of voice. Haha! We went to buy tea egg because Yingyi never tried before and after that I went to meet the girls - Chunnit, Ling and Vic! Lei didn't join us because the next day she got work.

Guess what?! We went to sing KTV again! LOL. omg. Two KTV sessions in one day! But we went to Chevrons, so it was much cheaper, about $10 per person.

candid!

We left the place feeling spooked because Ling was trying to do her evil laughter into the mic which sounded pretty scary actually.

And today...met Wendell and we had brunch at Tung Lok! My favourite porridge place. Very nice! :) After that I went to his house to fetch Casper. Yes, his doggie is gonna stay with me for these 2 days because Wendell and his family is going away to Malaysia for weekend vacation!

At first I was really quite doubtful of Casper being around with Zaizai. I was afraid he couldn't get used to my house and the new surrounding. But he was really quite obedient lar. He is now used to being with my parents and is now sleeping peacefully beneath my computer table. Hee.

so cutee!

And I guess my worries about him and zai zai was unfounded.

LOL. Best friends now?
(althou I think Zaizai secretly still hates him)

Zaizai says "I am the KING of the house!"

Wendell is probably going to kill me when he sees this entry. HAHA! bye all! Wish me luck for the next 2 days. Hope casper will enjoy his stay with me!

I was browsing my Friendster just now and somehow, some kind of nostalgia just swept over me. Looking at all the people that have walked through my paths before, the ones that I remember, and the ones that I don't...I can't help but feel, everyone seems to be moving forward.

Of course they should.

1 school mate from MI just got married.

1 friend has gone overseas to further her studies and is enjoying her life there.

1 teacher has gone to another country to start a new life.

1 senior has fallen in love, and is living happily.

2 friends have broken up with their boyfriends, but are moving on fine.

3 friends are still happily in love.

1 friend is working now instead of going to university.

At least 2 friends have changed their partners.

1 primary school friend is studying in a prestigious university now.

It just made me think hard on my own future.

Whenever someone asks me what I plan to study next year, my reply would always be - I don't know. I have never seriously given a thought to what I really want to pursue. I should really really really start reflecting.

And I miss the friends whom I have lost contact with over the years.

If there is something you can change about your life, what would it be?

Monday, 17 December 2007

yay! I am officially on 1 week leave. Cleverly planned my 4 days leave within this week because there is Hari Raya on Thursday, which means the whole week I am FREE! :)

Days have been damn slack. Over Friday last week, me and the rest of the colleagues had a KTV session at Marina Square. Their bento set lunch totally sucked! But we had fun singing. Hahas. Didn't know my colleagues can sing so well. LOl.

And on Saturday...I stayed home whole day! My cramps are getting the better of me. *sobs sobs*

Anyway Saturday is also the day where my house underwent a mini revamp.

The results:

New bathroom flooring!

New sofa!

All just in time to welcome 2008.

At night me and my parents went to have Fish & Co. (again) and also I collected my specs! WeeEEe.

Totally love it.

Oh, and also I received x'mas' card from Zhi Chao! (Thanks a lot!)

And today I spent like a bomb (atomic?) at Vivocity. *roars*

I bought:

  • 2 Mary Jane bottoms : Damage Done: $73
  • 2 FOX Basics Racer Back Top : Damage Done: $26
  • 1 Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost Mascara : Damage Done: $15
Total Damage: $114

Very unhappy lor. Prices of everything else in Singapore seems to be skyrocketing. What is going down? MY BANK MONEY LAR! Freaking pissed can.

Even Taxi fares are increasing at such a ridiculous rate. The infuriating point is not the cost - but that by increasing the fares, it does not curb the root problem at all. I am so not going to take cabs. I rather be late, or I can be super nice and wake up early. *smiles*

But as a saying goes, being late is better than never arrived.

It shall be my new motto.

I think I have a daemon too, by the name of Zai Zai!

Fu Er's Daemon

Anyway, for those who have watched The Golden Compass and is fascinated to know what your daemon is, you can visit www.goldencompassmovie.com to find out!

Below is my chosen daemon:

You probably can't see - it's a snow leopard! (:

Over my boring weekend, I went to buy hair dye. Probably gonna get another dye job, this time on my own. The colour?

Yes. Peach Berry!

Oh and the package comes with a FREE KBOX voucher!

But I haven't really got around to dye my hair yet, considering I just coloured it barely a month ago. Shall wait awhile longer before I metamorphosize again.

I can't wait for next week, because I am taking a week off work! YAY! It means I can rot at home and play The Sims 2 which I borrowed from Wendell's sister, and maybe go Batam for Christmas shopping! (not forgetting the J.Co Donuts)

Night!
